Miss Me?

I know I haven't posted in a really long time but it's not my fault.  Momma left me for 6 whole days.  That's right.  She flew on an airplane, without me,  something that I was suppose to do last month.  I really, really, really wanted to go but Momma said I just wasn't ready.  I'm still not talking to her despite the fact that it's the holiday season.

So where did Momma go?

To visit these guys.  That's Puglet and Dutch, in case you didn't recognize them.  Momma flew out to San Francisco to hang out with them and their human while I stayed back in the cold Midwest with Daddy.  I haven't heard all the details yet but it sounds like I missed out on a really good time.

Puglet gets to go hiking every day, something I could only dream of.  He took Momma to Fort Funston and showed her his super duper supermodel moves on these barnacles.

Pug even Jimmied like a gazillion times!  Every time he wanted something he pulled the old Jimmy card.  And it worked!  Dutch can't Jimmy but that doesn't mean he doesn't try to get treats just by looking cute.

To add insult to injury, a few days into Momma's visit and this guy shows up.  You may not recognize him but you surely recognize his cuteness.  That's Frank, the wannabe supermodel that knows how to Jimmy.

Momma says that Frank is even cuter in person and that she wanted to bring him home.  As if!

Momma even got to go on a photo shoot.  Puglet's human was contacted by a friend of hers that had just started fostering a pug whose owner is terminally ill.  She wanted professional pictures taken so she could post them on the rescue website in hopes of finding him a forever home.

This guy's name is Peppy and Momma almost brought him home, too.  He's 10 years old but Momma says he acts my age.

Momma was so homesick for me that she almost bought this at the airport.  Why didn't she?  There wasn't enough room in her luggage for a toothpick much less a cardboard pug.

And guess what else she told me?  There were lots of dogs walking through the terminal in San Francisco.  And of course some of them were pugs!  WAAAAHHHHH!

I'm so glad Momma is back home but I'm hearing rumblings of her taking another trip without me real soon.  I just can't let that happen but I don't know what to do.  Any suggestions?

Pretty in Pink

I have been begging Momma to let me open the mystery box.  Days have past; maybe even a week.  What the heck, Momma?  Put away those school books and help a pug!

I tried to open the box myself but realized that I just couldn't do it.  I sure wish I had some thumbs.

Late last week we finally had the box opening party.  YAY!

"Hurray up, Momma!  My clothes are going out of style!"

What could possibly be in this box?  I have been praying that it is a giant bully stick ever since Momma brought it home.  Some of my friends think that it's a Christmas tree but I highly doubt it.

WAAAAHHHHH!  It's not a bully stick!

It's a Christmas tree!  You guys were right!

Once Momma got it out of the box we had to decorate it.  I didn't have any ornaments so I sent Momma out to do some shopping.  I offered to go with but she told me that they don't allow dogs in the craft stores.   Dogs aren't allowed but crazy crafters are okay?  Whatever!

Momma bought me the most beautiful ornaments for my tree.  This little T is perfect because it lets everyone know that the tree belongs to me.

There are 3 little dragonflies on the tree - one for each of us.

I asked Momma to get me an ornament for Stubby so she bought this star because Stubby is the brightest star in the sky.

And a tree isn't complete without a tree topper.  Perfect!

Momma found me the perfect tree skirt.  Santa Paws will definitely know where to leave all my presents.

Ta da!

I needed a nap after all that decorating stuff.  I think I might just sleep here until Santa arrives.  Only 13 more sleeps!

I Think There's Been a Mistake!

I may not look too perturbed in this photo but I really am.

Apparently, Momma read an article on the Huffington Post this morning about the top 25 dog names of 2011 and my name wasn't on the list.  As if!  Don't the experts know that Tiffy Tippy Toes was THE most popular name this past year?  What type of so called journalism is this?  While I understand that the list is courtesy of the Banfield Pet Hospital, the editors at the Huffington Post need not look any further than all of us here on blogger for the most popular dogs names.

I'm thinking about writing a letter to the Huffington Post so let me know if your name failed to make the list and we can start a letter writing campaign!
