I have been waiting and waiting for spring to arrive. I've been at my forever home for two weeks now, and I've been watching as the spring flowers have slowly pushed their way up through the hard soil. It's so fun to see the progress they make each day. Just look at these pretty crocus that are blooming right in my front yard!
The hyacinths also decided to make their annual appearance this past weekend. Soon they will look like tall soldiers as they reach for the sunlight. Momma says they won't bloom for long but that's okay because I will visit them every day, and maybe even water them if I'm in the mood.
It was nice and warm yesterday so I spent lots of time in my backyard. I love the feel of the grass between my tippy toes. I walk the perimeter of the yard, staying very close to the fence so that I can keep an eye out for bad guys. Sometimes I even have to stand up and speak my mind, especially when I hear someone having fun without me.
All that outdoor fun made me very tired. When I finally decided to come in the house, I searched for the perfect spot where I could catch a breeze and keep an eye on things. This spot had my name written all over it!
The sunlight felt so good! I knew the sun would soon be moving so I had to take advantage of its light while I could. Momma told me she was going to put some sunscreen on me but I just laughed and ran away.
I was very sleepy but before I took a nap I decided to do a little dogya. I like to call this pose "forward facing frog". I held this pose until I was fully relaxed, and then I headed of to la-la land. I dreamt about the flowers that are soon to bloom and about all the fun times to come.
Tiffy you looks so comfy in the sunbeam sleepings. I think you mastered the downward facing doggy pose!

Hi Tiffy Tiffy Tippy Toes
ReplyDeleteDid you tip toe on over to the crocus to say "how do you do"?
You are soooooo adorable standing by the flowers. I bigafied the photo do that I could see a close up of you. You are so petite and adorable.
You were doing a good job of keeping the bad guys away,,,, That is a very important job.
What was happening on the other side of the fence Tiffy?
You are so lucky to have sunrays. I only have raindrops- today, but maybe tomorrow. Your dreams will come true and soon spring will be all around you. You will feel the soft grass on those tippy toes.. and butterflys will land on your nose.
I have a favorite place to lay like you do,,,but I like yours better. I love the big doors that are open for the nice breeze to come in.
The forward facing dog yoga looks like maybe something that I could learn to do.... I wish you could teach me.
Happy dreaming,,, happy spring sweet Tiffy
